In the wake of the Scott Pilgrimage/’business trip’ my mom took to Toronto, I was very excited and moved that my mom had accomplished what I could not, partaking in a trip to the SP holy land. But little did I know that she was about to pull a magical 1up on me; when I came home today, I found a map of Toronto, with her notations and tracings of a path, a menu from Sneaky Dee’s, and a bag from Honest Ed’s. I can honestly say that I hold this laminated menu and plastic bag among my most prized possessions, having them on my desk is making me geek out a little :)
So my mom told me a week ago that she was going to Toronto for a few days on business, and being the mega Scott Pilgrim fan that I am I immediately jumped up and told her that I would prepare her for her Scott Pilgrimage! Now I took that name from this Flickr Page: (http://www.flickr.com/photos/25096269@N04/sets/72157624312642335/) But the name itself is pretty derivative, and a journey such as this has been something I’ve wanted to do ever since I picked up the first book. So a few days later, Im sitting at home and I start to receive a barrage of pictures on my phone, and when I opened them all I was treated to something incredible: my mother had recruited a taxi driver, and with his help located and hit several incredible spots from the books, Including Honest Ed’s, Sneaky Dee’s, and Pizza Pizza. She took these pictures and went on this wild pilgrimage for me, and that is what love is all aboot (go Canada xP).

We put this together as a gift to the fabulous Adventure Time crew from more than 250 of the pithiest storyboard panels that Eric Homan’s been featuring on our tumblr for the last couple of years.
The crew received their copies yesterday and have already lit up the twitterverse. A follower suggested we give away a few of the physical books in a contest (we’re trying to figure out the best way to do that right now), but in the meanwhile we thought that those of you with a tablet or smartphone (or your computer for that matter) would enjoy a free version for yourselves.

Finally got my new computer this morning, got it all set up and looking gorgeous with a personalized LED color display, moved all my files over from my old computer, then spent all afternoon downloading from Steam all the games I had no space for on my old rig. I am a very happy nerd :)
